Documentation

When something happens, you need the record — fast.

Every monitored event produces a record. When a client, insurer, attorney or detective asks what happened at 2:14 a.m. on a Tuesday, we hand over a report with the timeline, the cameras involved, the actions taken and the footage — usually within hours, not days.

What we document

A standard format, every time.

Our incident reports follow one structure: summary, timeline with camera references, operator observations, actions and notifications, responder details, exhibits and recommendations. The format is the one insurers and police ask for because it answers their questions in order.

  • Incident report within 24 hours of any escalated event
  • Clips and stills exported with timestamps and camera IDs
  • Footage retrieval requests for events we did not escalate (a slip-and-fall, a dispute)
  • Chain-of-custody notes for police and legal requests
  • Retention guidance so footage exists when it is needed
